This is our warmest tight for cold riding conditions. Our warmest GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER fabric covers the entire front of the tight to keep the cold wind out. We use water-repellent Nano Flex 3G on the bum and the back of the lower legs for splash protection from wet roads, while Thermoflex on the back of the thighs gives extra stretch for the renowned Castelli fit. This is now the most comfortable wind tight we've ever made. We’ve kept the bib straps to a minimum so that you can layer your upper body exactly as you wish, without an unwanted thermal layer covering your stomach. PROSECCO TECH SHORT SLEEVE The first goal of this base layer is to move moisture away from your skin while adding minimal insulation for those cool days when your riding intensity is high enough and your outer layers are warm enough. The areas covered by the bibtight around the waist and up the back can get hot, so we used a lightweight PrimaLoft fabric to help even out the temperature. This base layer works best when in contact with the skin, so both fabrics are very stretchy and the cut is slim. On extremely cold days we'll use this as a first layer under a Flanders Warm second base layer, or under a thermal jersey. It's very effective at moving sweat away from the body. The creation of this product started with a list of the things we wanted to fix about winter gloves: we wanted to make a glove that's warm without being bulky, is easy to get on and off, is mostly waterproof without having it suck in dry weather due to low breathability, and is super comfortable. We innovated everything on this glove, starting with the base fabrics: we've used a stretch water-resistant windproof outer shell over PrimaLoft Gold insulation to make it warm, and an insanely soft inner liner that happens to slide easily over even a sweaty hand for easy on/off. Just like the name says, we wanted to create the ideal simple emergency rain jacket. We made it completely waterproof and compact, and, as you’d expect from Castelli, we also gave it an amazing on-bike fit, yet it’s still roomy enough to fit over a Gabba.
